In class we were given a list of 30 things from which we had to try to photograph as many as we could. at first I did this task in school and then again at home in order to see how the outcomes changed. I then had to display them in my own exibition. i found this particularly challenging as i have never displayed my work in this way.
The reason i decided to display my work on a plain grey backgroud was to contrast the many bright, vibrant colours in most of the images. i chose to display them in order of lightest photo to darkest photo to show the difference between them. Overall i was not entirly happy with the outcome as i feel like it look boring and indifferent. if i were to do this task again i would probably take only a small handfull of images [maybe 4-5] and display them in an exciting, yet simple way, for example on a fishing line with the sky as the ackground. this way i would still be able to show the contrast between the images and the background.
it was interesting to see how difficult it was to take a photo of very specific things as it was more about finding the photo than taking/making it.
