As of now, the start of year 12, my favourite image is 'Untitled Memphis 1965' by William Eggleston. I love this photo because its a very simple,unstaged shot that offers a quick glimps at this young boys life. Eggleston is known to only take one photo of each shot which shown his opportunist nature. Eggleston uses a form of printing called Dye Transfer which, at the time, was only used in advertisement photography. this created the vibrant colour seen in his photographs despite colour photography not being taken seriously at the time.
